FLAGSHIP FUNDS FOR COFFS COAST

Two of the Coffs Coast’s Flagship events are to receive state government funding to help in their promotion.
Woolgoolga’s Curry Festival, which celebrates the area’s cultural diversity, is to receive $10,000.
The multicultural showcase features food, music and dancing and attracts more than 12,000 people each year.
The BCU Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge, which raises money for Rotary projects, will also receive $10,000.
More than 400 cyclists took part in this year’s ride from Coffs Harbour’s Jetty to Bellingen and back.
$40,000 was raised for charity.
