Jacqueline Freney continues to dazzle the country with her outstanding efforts in the pool.
She secured her 7th gold medal in the S7 400metre freestyle overnight, making her Australia’s most successful Paralympian at a single Games.
She smashed the world record, clocking in at just over four minutes and 52 seconds.
And she’s once again exceeded her own expectations.
“Yeh definetely I just wanted to go out there tonight and see what I could do and get as close to the world record as I could and I broke that so i’m happy about it.”
