One of Port Macquarie’s few boat ramps has been close indefinitely, amid safety concerns.
The Buller Street ramp, which is next to the Port Macquarie Sea Rescue Group headquarters, has deteriorated in recent years, prompting Port Macquarie-Hastings Council to close it.
The barricades will remain up while council assesses the options for the boat ramp’s future.
Boaters will have to use the nearby ramp at Westport Park to access the Hastings River.
