State Government officials will meet with the owners of South Grafton’s Abattoir next week after it was revealed the facility will close next month.
Almost 200-staff will lose their jobs and Grafton businesses are concerned about the impact on local families and the economy.
The abattoir’s owners, Stuart Ramsay, blames state government departments his decision to shut the facility.
