RESIDENTS WANT CLUNES CAMERA SWITCHED BACK ON

A number of Clunes residents want to see their fixed speed camera back in action.
In July, the system stopped issuing fines and was switched to warning mode after being identified as one of 38-ineffective cameras across the state.
Over 600 warnings were issued last month, more than double the number of fines in the same period last year.
The Clunes Progress Association has written to the roads minister to review the camera’s status.
Representatives from the RTA, NRMA and New South Wales Police will inspect the site next week
