Ballina lawyer Luke Harrison will be suiting up for a different kind of battle this weekend.
The 35 year old is in Hawaii, preparing to compete in the Ironman World Championships on Saturday.
The gruelling event includes a 3.8 kilometre swim, a 180 kilometre bike ride and a marathon run.
Last year the local hopeful just missed out on a podium finish, coming in fourth.
