The prawn season officially got underway today and North Coast fishermen can look forward to a hassle free time on the trawl.
Last week dredging works at Palmers Channel wrapped up, which means fisherman can safely access Wooloweya Lagoon without waiting for tidal changes.
The O’Farrell Government provided Clarence Valley Council with $124,000 for the upgrade.
