Great Lakes Council has re-elected Mayor Jan McWilliams for the region’s top job.
In an ordinary council meeting today, councillor McWilliams was voted unopposed to continue in her role as Mayor.
Councillor John Stephens is the newly elected Deputy Mayor, replacing John Weate, who has held the position since 2008.
Both councillors will run for a 12-month term, until council has its elections in September next year.
