Lawn bowlers have christened more than $500,000 worth of improvement works at Kew.
The two new synthetic greens will be getting a workout during the week of celebrations at the Camden Haven Golf Club complex.
Events are planned every day, including a barefoot bowls afternoon on Friday.
The upgraded facilities will also allow the club to chase additional lawn bowls tournaments.
The celebrations culminate on Saturday with a visit from the state men’s and women’s presidents.
