Newcastle players Marcus Vanderheide and Katie-Rae Ebzery have been named league MVP’s, after the Waratah Basketball Finals wrapped up at Broadmeadow.
It was cold consolation for Vanderheide, with the Hunters losing to Illawarra in the grand final.
