The dog squad have helped track down a man allegedly behind a spate of break and enters in Merrimac overnight.
Police located a backpack nearby, with money and a charity tin inside.
The 22-year-old has been charged with two counts of burglary and one of obstructing police.
He’ll face Southport Magistrate’s court tomorrow.

Yes two in the complex early hours of this morning and 2 weeks ago we got robbed in same complex. Probably same person. Been happening for ages. Very frightening to think they can get into your home and rib you while u are asleep in the same room.
