Top football coaches from across Northern New South Wales took charge of the fields in Coffs Harbour today, steering an intense one-day coaching clinic for juniors.
The coaches set up drills, passing on tips and advice to the region’s most promising young players who travelled from as far as Taree, Tamworth and the far north coast.
“Some of these players here today have actually already been chosen to go into high performance camp in January which is at Sports UNE in Armidale so obviously from there they’ll be selected for state squads.”
Officials say the day is also beneficial for coaches who share a vast array of techniques.
