Port Macquarie’s St Agnes Primary School has taken out the Mid North Coast Basketball Challenge, after downing Tacking Point in this afternoon’s final.
It’s the first time the school has won the popular competition which has been running for several years.
17 teams from North Haven to Port Macquarie contested the challenge, with back-to-back matches played throughout the day.
The day not only aims to improve the skills of those who already play basketball, but also to introduce new players to the sport.
Tacking Point Primary won the girls division final over St Columba.
