Seaworld has now confirmed a baby humpback spotted off the Gold Coast with its mother – is not the same calf that beached itself yesterday.
But there is some good news – another calf swimming with its mother – a little closer to shore – might just be the one.
According to Seaworld experts it has similar colour markings to that of the rescued baby.
