Only two games were completed in NBN state league this weekend with Lake Macquarie beating Weston, while the Magic smashed West Wallsend.
The ground announcer hadn’t even finished the team line ups before Scott Pettit put Broadmeadow in front.
The Blue Bells waited 40 minutes for a response, before Peter McPherson scored one of the goals of the season.
But the Magic soon restored their advantage, as Pettit cleaned up the scraps from a Chris Berlin free kick.
