Fire fighters and emergency services are at the scene of a major fire in West Wallsend.
Two, buildings, one thought to be a Chinese take away, on Carrington Street, are involved in the blaze.
Initial fears were held for the occupants of a two storey building where the fire is thought to have started, but all have now been accounted for and are safe.
