The Newcastle Cobras delivered a blow to the finals chances of the Bondi Raiders in the State Gridiron Football League, with an upset 20-18 victory at Charlestown over the weekend.
Max Nina was unstoppable – he landed two touchdowns, helping the Cobras to their second win of the season.
Newcastle is now 7th on the table of nine with five rounds to play – but an outside chance of making the finals.
