Following the cancellation of services due to the volcanic ash cloud from Puyehue-Cordon
Caulle, Newcastle Airport is expecting services by Jetstar, QantasLink and Virgin Australia
will resume in and out of Newcastle Airport this afternoon.
The airlines are still confirming flight schedules. Passengers are urged to monitor their
airline’s website or contact the airline directly for advice regarding flights.
As flight details become known to Newcastle Airport, the flight information page will be
updated on its website (www.newcastleairport.com.au).
Brindabella Airlines and Aeropelican flights in and out of Newcastle have not been affected.
