Roads around Nimbin, Lismore and Wyrallah will get much needed safety upgrades, with the New South Wales government allocating more than $790,000 in funding.
Woodlawn, Stoney Chute, Wyrallah and Blue Knob roads will be widened, resurfaced and have guardrails and wire rope safety barriers installed.
The funding is part of a five-year Road Toll Response Package, an initiative to reduce the number of deaths on New South Wales roads and improve safety.
