A semi-trailer carrying 24 tonnes of macadamias rolled over on the Bruxner Highway at Wollongbar on Monday afternoon, stalling traffic for more than four hours.
The truck’s load shifted, causing the vehicle to skid 100 metres before eventually toppling over – blocking both lanes.
One lane reopened at 7pm while it took more than ten hours to cleanup the mess.
The driver, a man in his 60s, escaped without injury.
