Sick children at Lismore Base hospital, were treated to a special visit from some real life heroes today.
Pilots from the Westpac helicopter service dropped by the kids ward to launch this year’s Opera at the Channon fundraiser.
“It brings a bit of culture to Lismore and exposes people to the talents of young opera Australia.”
All proceeds will go to the Westpac Rescue helicopter and ‘Our Kids’ in Lismore.
“Our Kids is about purchasing equipment for our local hospitals to help our children stay local when they come in and need medical care.”
Opera at the Channon will take place on the 24th of July, tickets are on sale.
