NORTHERN RIVERS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SEEKING 100 WOMEN FOR GIVING CIRCLE

The Northern Rivers Community Foundation is calling on 100 women to help make its grant program a reality.

It’s seeking $1,000 donations to create a funding kitty for a so-called ‘Women’s Circle’.

That will help organisations tackle female homelessness in the region.

“It’s bringing together the people that who want to make a difference and connecting them with organisations that we know can make a difference if they’ve got the right resources, NRCF Chair Nicole Weber said.

“Initially it’s about housing and finding habitats and from there it can be anything there’s such a creative comunity to come forward to help in this.” said donor Linda Grace.

There are already 40 donors on board.

Two grant recipients will also receive mentorship to enhance their programs in the region.
