A 31 year old man has surrended to police after a raid allegedly uncovered a sophisticated hydroponic set up in his South Lismore home this afternoon.
Just after midday, officers swooped on the Webster Street address, uncovering 19 cannabis plants, lighting equipment and fertiliser.
“Potentially it had a street value of perhaps $100,000 if those plants were allowed to mature.”

It’s the fourth raid in eight days in the Richmond Command.
The man has been charged with cultivating a prohibited plant and has been bailed to appear in Lismore Court in June.
