at the Ringwood Motorsports Complex today – you had to be a fan of MG’s.
Around 90 drivers from across Australia tested their prized possessions at the national MG Car Club’s Hillclimb.
“The MG’s are very adaptable. They’re a fast little sports car – fun to drive, and in competition as well.”
While some clearly didn’t mind a scratch or two, others like 70-year-old Lyall Clarke didn’t have to worry – he recorded one of the fastest times.
“Well it’s always a pleasure to out do anybody, no matter what the age. We’re all the same when we jump in the car and it doesn’t make much difference.”
The winner will be crowned tonight.
