A $1-million upgrade of public amenities on Coffs Harbour’s Jetty foreshore….
Will be among a number of items which will be discussed at tonight’s council meeting.
The federal government has contributed almost $500,000 to upgrades, which needs to be matched by council for the projects to be completed.
The works will include revamping picnic shelters, barbecues and two amenities blocks.
Some of the older shelters at the popular recreation area will be demolished and replaced.
New lighting will be installed and a number of new trees will be planted in the parkland.
