Each year, students at Singleton High’s ANZAC commemoration get to hear real-life accounts of war from people who were there.
Special guest was Aussie pop icon, Little Pattie, who at just 17 entertained troops in Vietnam. Ms Amphlett recalls,
“the boys would come up and talk to me, I reminded of their girlfriends and sisters, I reminded them of home.”
Students treated Pattie to a rendition of her own signature tune.
