With windy conditions continuing around Tamworth today, firefighters were kept busy.
Emergency services were called to an out-of-control grass fire that broke out on Back Kootingal Road in Nemingha this afternoon.
Plumes of smoke filled the sky as flames engulfed surrounding bushland.
Thankfully, no people or properties were threatened by the blaze, and the cause is not yet known.
