Some of the Hunter and Central Coast’s best high school artists have their creative endeavours on exhibition in this year’s Art Express.
There’s a strong local flavour in the collection that showcases the best works from HSC students around the state.
Drawing remains a popular form of expression, such as a surf scene that only uses blue biro.
There’s also painting, installation art and multi-media works on show at the Newcastle Regional Art Gallery.
Penny Finnigan, the Public Programs Officer at the gallery explains the collection.
