A local team has taken out the inaugural 2-Bowl Handicap Triples tournament at Port Macquarie.
Port City Bowling Club’s Peter Gunn, Mal Pye and Peter Ascott-Evans won seven of their eight games to finish on top.
The two-day tournament attracted 130 bowlers from across New South Wales and Queensland, and aimed to provide a level playing field among experts and amateurs.
Following the success of this year, organisers say the event will continue in 2015.
