Retail giant Woolworths has confirmed it’s withdrawn its appeal for a proposed Dan Murphy’s store in Taree.
The company lodged an appeal with the Land and Environment Court last month, after the development was knocked back twice by Greater Taree City Council.
Woolworths hasn’t outlined why it’s decided to withdraw.
The BWS store on Manning Street, which would have been replaced by the Dan Murphy’s outlet, will continue to trade as normal.
