A driver has been seriously injured after crashing into a herd of cattle north of Uralla overnight.
The Westpac Rescue chopper was tasked to Thunderbolts Way at Yarrowyck just after 8pm, following reports of a serious single vehicle accident.
A man, believed to be in his mid-20s, was stabilised at the scene by paramedics before being airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition for further treatment.
