The fate of four heritage-listed trees in Bellingen’s CBD could be decided in the morning.
The council wants to remove the camphour laurels as part of its Church Street revitalisation program.
It says the 60-year-old trees are class-four noxious weeds and are in various stages of decline.
Arguments for and against their destruction will be presented at tomorrow’s council meeting.
