A car has been destroyed following a break and enter near Tamworth overnight.
Officers were called to the scene just before 1am, to find the 2007 Holden Ute engulfed by flames on Wallamore Road.
Tamworth Rural Fire Service arrived shortly after and extinguished the blaze, but there was nothing left to recover.
Police say it’s believed the offender broke into a house at Westdale, stealing money and the keys to the vehicle.
