In Group Three rugby league, and the Old Bar Pirates are preparing to take on the Taree City Bulls in a local derby this Saturday.
Coach Daniel Russel says the team is building momentum.
“They’re pretty confident lately, at the start of the year we started off slow, but three in a row now the boys have a spring in their step.”
But the Pirates will be put to the test.
The Bulls have four straight wins under their belt.
“It’s always a firey or good match with the Taree Bulls but I’m pretty confident.”
