Merewether triathlete, Jane Mountford, has returned from the World Championships in Beijing with gold, after winning her age division for the third straight year.
“I wanted a hat trick, but you just don’t know because the further up you get in an age group obviously the younger ones are coming up.”
Mountford will compete in the Port Macquarie half ironman in November, before tackling the full course in Melbourne in March.
“The only reason I’d do another ironman was if my daughter did one with me and she phoned up and said Mum. Ha ha ha.”
