TREE HEIGHTS STOP NIGHT FLIGHTS AT WARNERVALE

Night flights will be suspended at Central Coast Airport until trees, near the runway, are trimmed.

Council is in the process of figuring out how reduce their height, in line with environmental laws.

The local aeroclub says it won’t be able to train new pilots to do twilight takeoffs until the trees are cut.
