Coffs Harbour health professionals joined the national day of protest over a so called ban on the reporting of abuse in immigration detention centres.
They claim new federal laws could also apply to hospital workers in regional areas.

Not only health professionals gathered – there were social workers, teachers and many other mandatory reporters as well as community members from all areas. Some traveled from as far as Dorrigo to stand in support.
