WEATHER UPDATE: HOTTEST START TO SPRING ON RECORD

Its already been the hottest start to Spring on record for Sydney with the Greater Hunter also feeling the heat which is set to peak tomorrow.
A front is approaching and this will be strong enough to flush out the hot air sitting over central Australia driving the mercury into the high 20s and low 30s across most of northern NSW.
Strong wind warnings have been issued and bush fire conditions will be driven to high levels.
It will be cooler behind the front but once again little to no rain is likely.
The long range charts are finally beginning to show some potential for rain building towards the end of the week.
