A crane will tonight be used to remove a B-double truck from the M1 Pacific Motorway at Killingworth.
The semi trailer was travelling north on the motorway just before midnight, when it left the road and hit a ditch, leaking diesel fuel.
Fire and Rescue New South Wales, Hazmat and NSW Rural Fire Service teams have cleaned up the petrol spill.
The driver of the B-double was uninjured.
