The Nationals say federal independent Tony Windsor should be concerned, after the party claimed an overwhelming victory in the Northern Tablelands state by-election on the weekend.
But Mr Windsor says support for the Coalition at a state level won’t necessarily translate to votes come the September federal election.

And he is running 75 lower house candidates and unlike Palmer is actually organised and very well connected. Can’t wait to see both windsor , labor and the coalition get a shock when these new parties start taking votes away from them.
