Police are seeking any witnesses a serious assault on the Gold Coast overnight.
Around 11:30pm, a man was walking along Griffith Street in Coolangatta when he became involved in an altercation with a group including two men and a woman.
The man was knocked unconscious, and the group fled the scene on foot.
The victim, aged 26, was transported to hospital with head injuries.
