Lennox Head’s Stu Kennedy has advanced to round four of the US Open of Surfing in California.
The 26 year-old posted a two wave heat total of 12.84 to avoid elimination in the qualifying series event.
He’ll now meet Brazillian Adriano De Souza and fellow Aussie Davey Cathels.
