A new emergency and rescue centre has officially opened in the Upper Hunter today.
The $1.4 million facility at Merriwa will house the local VRA Rescue Squad.
The facility includes a built-in vertical rescue training tower, a gym, and command space… to boost collaboration between emergency services.
