Professional make-up artists were also on hand to make sure everyone looked fabulous.
Hundreds gathered at the cinema, clutching special goodie bags, as they waited for staff to open the theatres.
Some went all out for the occasion, arriving in the kind of style that Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda would be proud of.
