WEATHER NOT TO BLAME FOR FATAL ACCIDENTS: POLICE

A horror weekend on the state’s roads has police calling for drivers to slow down.
Six people were killed including five people between Coffs Harbour, Glen Innes and Byron Bay.
I think truck drivers need to slow down and think of other drivers. I travel on the highway everyday and truck drivers dont stick to the speed limit and they sit that close to the back of my car if I need to stop they will run over the top of me, Police need to crack down on it.
I agree it is a problem Rachel. By in large the majority of truck drivers are exceptionally professional, however, a small percentage of cowboys give the industry a bad reputation. I was recently nearly the victim of such an accident. Scary doesn’t describe it.
