TWO STUDENTS RAISE $12,000 FOR GREATEST SHAVE
Two year six students at Central Coast grammar school, have raised more than six times their intended goal – for the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.
Matthew Douglass, who lost his dad to cancer, set out with friend Mitchell Battersby to raise $2,000 for cancer research.
But today, that total was tallied at more than $12,000 – as the boys and their courageous team braved the shave.
And for those who weren’t quite willing to get rid of their locks – they underwent a big of a colour change – all in the name of charity.
