HUNDREDS HIT THE PAVEMENT FOR DARREL CHAPMAN FUNRUN

More than 500 people hit the ground running this morning, for the Darrel Chapman fun run at Southern Cross University.
While some took the opportunity to dress up and have fun, others took the race seriously.
In the main six kilometre event, Blayne Arnold crossed the line first in 20 minutes, while Courtney Gilfillan came in just a minute later to take out the women’s category.
Brendan McCumstie (MAC-CUM-STEE) won the three kilometre stretch.
The annual event raised over $10,000 for Our Kid’s charity fundraiser.
