An 81-year-old woman has been left shaken after being threatened by an intruder in her Bell Street home in Tamworth overnight.
Just after midnight, the woman woke to find a man standing beside her bed.
He threatened her but left a short time later empty-handed.
He is described as being in his twenties and wearing dark clothing.
The woman wasn’t injured.
