Five Dungog property owners are still holding off selling up, until a final decision is made on the Tillegra Dam.
Hunter Water is currently preparing a report, responding to submissions received during the consultation period.
It expects to lodge a response to the concerns with the Planning Department by next month.
Meanwhile, the No Tillegra Dam group is upset at department claims it didn’t receive more than 2,800 emails, objecting to the project.
“It seems like the Department of Planning or Hunter Water Corporation is not counting all of those submissions. They were official submissions saying we are oppossed to the Tillegra Dam.”
