The clean-up is continuing south of Taree, after a truck caught fire on the Pacific Highway early this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the southbound lanes of the highway near the Godfery Hill Road intersection just before 4 o’clock.
Initial reports suggest the back of the B-double had caught fire.
One of two southbound lanes remains closed, with motorists advised to allow extra travel time.
